Developer Matthew Blesso bought at penthouse at 684 Broadway from Hugh Hardy in 2006 and gave it an all-sustainable redesign. The insulation is made from recycled jeans, the master bathroom includes a vertical garden, and as we learned from the above marketing video for the apartment, there's also a lot of art. We hear that the production of the video cost $50,000 (which makes us wonder how much this one cost), and Blesso is now seeking $8.95 million for the penthouse. We're not sure the experience of living there would be as cool-slash-weird as the experience of watching the video. First the roof deck looks like the High Line, and then there's a flamethrower.
