The City Planning Commission will hold its public hearing on the Chelsea Market expansion tomorrow, and as the hour approaches, City Planning Commissioner Amanda Burden has not been particularly positive about the proposal. (The plan calls for a 90,000-square-foot addition on Ninth Avenue and a 240,000-square-foot addition on Tenth Avenue.) "I remain concerned about the massing and how it effects the High Line experience," Burden said yesterday. The High Line is definitely City Planning's favorite child. [Archpaper; previously]
