Eric Ho is plugging away with his plan to transform vacant lots into vibrant community spaces. He met with NYU graduate students to bring them on board, and he named the three spaces he thinks have the most potential for miLES: 537 East 11th Street between Avenues A and B, currently covered in weeds; 19 East Third Street between Bowery and Second Avenue, covered in gravel and sometimes people gather there; 271 Bowery between East Houston and Stanton Streets, beside Whole Foods and owned by the HPD.
