We haven't had any Summer of Bees news in a while, but apparently New York is facing a new, much less fun insect infestation. The Daily News reports that black widows spiders are showing up in the city, although their sources are an exterminator and the president of an extermination company, so really, who knows. The article doesn't mention anyone actually being bitten, but remember: if you are bitten by a spider and then you start dying, call an ambulance. [NYDN; previously]
