The F is becoming the subway line of choice for techies, both to live and work on. Tech companies are setting up shop in neighborhoods like Dumbo and Flatiron while their employees rent in Kensington and Carroll Gardens. Crain's has dubbed it the "Silicon Subway," which is a little catchier than "the F train tech corridor," which Cornell President David Skorton seems to be trying to make happen.
