Greenpoint's 55 Eckford Finally Shows Some Signs of Life

The tipline has been afire lately with the intel that construction has resumed at 55 Eckford, the Greenpoint project that's been a symbol of the arrested development problem since the debut of the Department of Buildings' stalled sites list. Tipsters spotted scaffolding up and construction crews at work at the building, which we last discussed when it was scheduled for a foreclosure auction in January. That auction was postponed, and there's no record of a recent sale. But the DOB site shows several recent filings.

The project's schedule A calls for 27 apartments, with an outdoor seating area, 19 parking spaces, bike storage, a gym, and a laundry room. Anyone know more about the timeline for construction? Please share.
