Today in awesome: these surreal composite photographs by Randy Scott Slavin. To create these swirling circles of cityscape, Slavin took hundreds of photos, then joined them together to give us a distorted, unusual view of some of New York City's landmarks and neighborhoods. The result is a 360-degree large-scale panoramic that masterfully disorients a familiar landscape. Slavin's "Alternate Perspective" photos, which include scenes from the California coast, will be on view at Kristen Farrell Gallery at 339 West Broadway in Soho until August 12.
