The colorful window covering is on the east side of the building, facing the East River. What's most interesting, though, is that a tipster sent along a link to this forum where someone posted about said pink window four years ago. Does management like the window? Do they just not care? BATTERY PARK?The Battery Conservancy is hosting an international design competition to find new outdoor seating for the 25-acre waterfront park. Designers from North, Central and South America and the Caribbean are invited to propose a design for "an iconic, adaptable outdoor seating element." WINDSOR TERRACE?Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., residents of Windsor Terrace will be protesting the proposed Walgreens, which will replace the neighborhood's only supermarket. The group "Green Beans Not Walgreens" organized the event, and it will take place at the site of the Walgreens, 589 Prospect Avenue.
