Plaza developer Elad Properties has officially sold off a controlling stake in the building to India's Sahara Group. The deal, originally rumored to be around $600 million, officially worked out to $570 million. Elad will get $400 million of that, and the hotel's other owner, Kingdom Holdings, will get the remainder. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will still be running the Plaza day-to-day, so not much is likely to change around the place. [Reuters; previously]
