Yesterday we linked to Brownstoner's news about the Lightstone Group taking over Toll Brothers' old Gowanus property, and since then, a rep from the developer has contacted us with a few corrections: 1) Lightstone will not seek a ULURP hearing because Toll Brothers already did that. Lightstone is only seeking minor modifications to the approvals given to Toll Brothers; and 2) They are also not seeking more height. It will be a rental development with both affordable and market rate units. The plan will go before the City Planning Commission in October, and they should break ground by the end of 2013.
