The Bossert Hotel is still in the approval-seeking stage, but locals are already lashing out against all the noise and traffic they're sure is on the way. A group of concerned residents at 200 Hicks Street are claiming that developers David Bistricer and Joseph Chetrit are underselling the impact that the hotel will have on the neighborhood. "We understand from press reports that both Chetrit and Bistricer have been publicly criticized for various aspects of their past real estate ventures," said one resident (talk about underselling.) We are just shocked—shocked—that a project involving Chetrit and architect Gene Kaufman could cause anyone to get upset. [Brooklyn Bugle; previously; photo via MissRachael's Flickr]
