In what's turning out to be a weekend of lawsuits, St. Volodymyr Cathedral on the Upper West Side is being sued by a group of neighbors at 172 West 82nd Street, a co-op building. The co-op members allege that the noise from the church, which rents out its hall for parties, gets "so intense it literally rattles the windows" and that the church has ignored all of their polite requests to keep the noise down. So they're pursuing legal action, and five million dollars for their trouble. [NYP]
