Decoded: the Most 'Amazing' of Apartment Listings

New, 3 comments

Welcome back to The Brokerbabble Glossary, where we take a word or a turn of phrase that seems to show up in an unreasonable number of listings and decipher its true meaning. If you have any ideas for us, send them to the tipline. Today's word: Amazing.

Saying that an apartment has "amazing wall space to display art" is basically akin to saying that it has large, blank walls with no windows, which would be an odd feature to brag about if it were even true. And in the case of the above place, it's not. The walls in this carnival fun house of an apartment are filled with weird protuberances and large windows, which is normally something that would seem desirable, but just looking at these pictures makes us feel like we're in some sort of Lewis Carroll-esque opposite land. There are probably things that could be described as 'amazing' other than the walls, but not in a good way.

Props to this photographer for really capturing the essence of the word 'panorama.'

Those words mean different things. "This place is INCREDIBLE. It's also okay."

We must be missing something here.
