We continue the opening stage of our Hottest Brokers Contest with a debut match-up of two men nominated by readers as among the best looking brokers in real estate: Brad Bateman of Stribling and Aash Jethra of CitiHabitats.
We asked each contender to reveal a bit about himself. Before getting into real estate, Brad (above, left) parlayed a college career playing Division I lacrosse in Boston into a post-grad job teaching the sport to juniors outside Manchester, England while playing for an adult team that made it to the English National Championships. Aash (above, right) also has a colorful pre-real estate background. He is a former scientist who studied "hot zone" viruses, and an international journalist, who enjoyed travels that took him from post-earthquake Haiti to Afghanistan.
So, which broker should advance to the next round?
