Johnson & Johnson heiress Libet Johnson purchased the Vanderbilt Mansion at 16 East 69th Street only last year, in a broker-less deal with owners Roger and Sloan Lindermann Barnett. But Johnson is already in the mood to move on, the Observer hears. The place is quietly on the market for something in the mid-$50 millions. One reason she might have been interested in moving on: sources tell the Observer Johnson had her eye on the eighth-floor apartments at 907 Fifth Avenue that formerly belonged to Huguette Clark. The apartments are already in contract to another buyer, but perhaps he'll be rejected by the board and give Johnson an opening. And either way, maybe Johnson wants a piece of this new era of ridiculously high-priced listings. The place was renovated by the Barnetts before Johnson bought it, adding entertainment space and a staff kitchen.
