These are the floorplans for the penthouse in 111 Mercer Street, which hit Streeteasy yesterday asking $12,500,000, a couple million more than was projected, but what's a couple million? It's a 3,063-square-foot, 3BR, 3.5BA duplex (apparently someone realized that having a roofdeck does not make it triplex) and brokers Eklund and Gomes did not allow any detail to go un-described, providing a short story's worth of brokerbabble. Here are some of the highlights:
Revel in the most glamorous duplex loft penthouse...over 1,600 square feet of outdoor space...key-locked elevator opens directly into a dramatic entry...glass-wrapped solarium...oversize gas fireplace...Varenna Canaletto Walnut island...Calacatta Gold marble slab stone surfaces...ultra-luxurious Powder Room...refined Carrara marble mosaic floor with Inca Gray mosaic tile inset border ...wood-burning fireplace...free-standing Waterworks Empire tub...chrome towel rack...Every conceivable luxury... Et cetera. The building's three other residential units, each a full-floor 2BR, were also listed, asking between $4.25 million and $4.5 million each.
You know you're living in style when your building has its own bathmats.
