Preservationists lost a fight over the buildings at 326 and 328 East Fourth Street several years ago, when the Landmarks Preservation Commission ruled that the site didn't merit landmarking. The developer-architect team of Terrence Lowenberg and Ramy Issac (frequently seen around the East Village) got to work on the property. Their makeover of the former Uranian Phalanstery and First New York Gnostic Lyceum Temple?a fantastically-named artists' collective and burial society now with the much more boring name of Icon EV?is finished, and EV Grieve spotted listings for a few apartments. There are the modestly-sized 2BR and 3BR, available for $3,500/month and $4,250/month, respectively. Then there's a 6BR asking $8,000/month. Anyone thinking about a move?
