Take your mind off the stifling platform heat with this short video shot by Tim Sessler and Brandon Bloch. In a quick 1:40, the video highlights a lot of great art installations in the subway system, including the inadvertent performance art of regular passengers. Keep your eyes peeled around the 1:25 mark for a great reveal of Bill Brand's Masstransiscope, which reveals itself as it does in real life: catching your mind's peripheral attention as it appears in the background outside the car. The video appears to be a short promo of sorts for Ruddy Harootian's NYC Subway art crawls, which he will start conducting again next month.
