PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS?Brooklynites can get pretty feisty about the greenery in their postage-sized stamp front yards, making the Greenest Block in Brooklyn a fierce competition. Lincoln Road between Bedford and Rogers Avenues took the crown this year, with its "beautiful and meticulously maintained curbside gardens, a communal Children’s Garden, excellent horticultural maintenance, and its conscientious efforts to reach maximum participation from block residents." About 60 of the block's 80 homes participated, beautifying all of the public spaces as well as private gardens. You can find all the details of the winners here. [Curbedwire Inbox]
CHELSEA?The first of eight penthouses in Walker Tower is officially on the market. A Curbed operative spied this listing on StreetEasy for PH5, a 3BR/4.5BA duplex asking $14 million for 3,396-square-feet. The apartment has a 190-square-foot terrace, a separate laundry room, and a wood-burning fireplace. The description of the interiors seem to match what we saw in the model unit, which is shown in the listing photos. Click through for the floorplan. [StreetEasy]
