The Post has more details on the building collapse on Carlton Avenue in Fort Greene yesterday morning. Investigators will be checking on whether an I-beam gave way after a load of construction materials was delivered to the site. Two construction workers were trapped in the basement when the building, 227 Carlton Avenue, collapsed. Worker William Gillett died at Brooklyn Hospital.
