Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick List $25M House

The housing hunt of Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick is the stuff of legend. After considering Central Park West, the couple eventually settled on 20 East 10th Street, a Greek Revival townhouse. And then, a mere year later, a rumor surfaced that Parker and Broderick were closing on two State Street townhouses. Now there's a bit more evidence for that rumor: 20 East 10th Street is on the market. Parker and Broderick were said to be "quietly shopping" the house back in March, but this is a not-so-quiet Sotheby's listing for $24.995 million. They paid $18.995 million (the Frank Selvaggi on the deed is SJP's business manager) for it last year.

The couple never moved into the place, but they apparently redid it anyway. And judging by the listing pics, it's rather lovely! (There are seven working fireplaces and a tiered garden.) Here's a look at some pre-reno photos from an old listing:
