The penthouse at 128 Central Park South was opened up to real estate information services firm Trulia's representatives looking to mingle with real estate media people, and Michael Corbett of Extra TV was on hand to lend a little star power. The penthouse is used to celebrity presence. The top floor at 128 Central Park South is the former home of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. There's a raised platform in the main living room of the apartment that was soundproofed and insulated to allow Joel and his band to rehearse in front of a Central Park view without bothering the downstairs neighbors. There's 3,000 square feet of outdoor space on two levels that's included with the 3,000 square feet of interior space. If one gets bored of beholding the enormity of Central Park, one can always head to the rear patio and stare at the rising tower One57. The penthouse is on the market for just under $12 million.
