Hope Street Conversion Open For Viewing, Not for Leasing

New, 9 comments

The day has finally come: the 55 Hope Street warehouse-to-rental conversion is now open for viewing. The 117-apartment project has been in the works for several years, and construction is finally complete. Reps sent along a press release announcing that the complex is open for viewing, but they didn't include any real photos or pricing for the units. The brokerbabble-filled release says that original elements from the warehouse were preserved, like the large windows and exposed concrete ceilings. The units range from studios to three-bedrooms, and they have wide plank oak floors, white glass countertops, high ceilings, and "spa-like bathrooms."

Some brokerbabble describing the building:

55 Hope is not just a place to live?it's a lifestyle chosen by the discerning renter seeking distinct NY loft living with an elevated twist. Residents and guests are welcomed by a dramatic lobby lounge surrounded by bamboo gardens. Elevators grant residents ease of access to their lofts and the 8,500 SF landscaped roof deck offering panoramic views and opportunities to soak in the rays or relax with some outdoor yoga. A state of the art fitness center allows residents to stay fit. A virtual doorman and resident superintendent offer security without sacrificing privacy. The project will be open for leasing from brokerage Triumph Property group "in the coming weeks." You can register to view the units online. The floorplans all vary greatly because of the shape of the building, but here's a sampling:
