It's not so much the relative poverty of their neighbors that many residents at One Columbus Place find off-putting by low-income residents who share the building, it's the uncouth smoking of weed that has a tendency to waft through hallways and air vents at the luxury residence. Also, poorer people are apparently litterbugs, and one neighbor who's paying full fare to live in the building wishes they would live anywhere, "other than a block away from Central Park." [NYP]
