Christopher Columbus's living room will be opening to the public this Thursday for an art exhibit built around the iconic statue in Columbus Circle. A fully decorate room has been built at the top of the 75-foot granite column, and guests will climb a winding staircase to sit in his company. Because of "expected high demand" visitors only get 30 minutes in the room and you have to get a ticket in advance. [West Side Rag; previously]
