Revenge of the Megaprojects

The city isn't too happy with the architect switch at Riverside Center, either. Developer the Dermot Company has traded starchitect Christian de Portzamparc for the non-starchitects at SLCE, and City Planning director Amanda Burden is, for one, "extremely disappointed." Of course, there's nothing in the public approval process for new buildings that requires developers to hang onto the first architects they choose. [WSJ; previously]
