Continuing the somewhat confusing trend of professional football coaches owning New York City real estate, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick just sold his Park Slope townhouse, which has apparently been in his possession since 2006, for $2.75 million, turning a $550,000 profit. The house was allegedly a love nest for Belichick and his mistress, so at least he has a better excuse for owning in New York than the last two guys. Nicer place, too. [NYO]
