The west side's Community Board 4 professes to love Bjarke Ingel's pyramid tower and seems to hope that Durst Fenter will build it, but unanimously voted against approval for a zoning variance because they have a problem with some of the details. Durst Fenter says it can't promise eternal affordable housing at the site because its lease on the property is only 99 years, and there's some disagreement about the appropriateness of valet parking in NYC—"Curb side drop off?" said land use committee chair JD Nolan.
