Now You Can Pay Some Guy Money For Literal Garbage

New, 2 comments

Here's a good thing to buy if you need a birthday present for your mortal enemy: artist/entrepreneur Justin Gignac has been making NYC Garbage cubes since 2001 (we were wondering where all that garbage went) and selling them for $50-$100 per cube. He started doing it to prove some point about packaging design, which apparently was a good point because he has sold "over 1,300" in the past 11 years. That averages out to around ten per month. For over a decade. He has now expanded into making limited edition garbage cubes, such as ones from the day same-sex marriage was legalized (just take his word for it.) This is sort of the worst, but congratulations to this guy and his magic garbage beans, we guess.
