The latest from Curbed Miami, our outpost in the "Sixth Borough"...
1) South Beach: The famous Versace Mansion on Ocean Drive, home of the late fashion designer and site of his murder, is awash in legal troubles for the new owner that stand to complicate the building's sale. Whomever buys it will have to lawyer up, and fast.
2) Sunny Isles Beach: Jade Signature, that rumored starchitect Herzog & de Meuron designed condo tower planned for Sunny Isles Beach, as just release a press release basically stating that, yes, it really is a thing.
3) Coconut Grove: The Grand Bay Hotel has fallen, or is in the process of falling, whatever. Demolition on the Coconut Grove landmark has begun, soon to be replaced by twin twisty towers designed by architectural it-boy Bjarke Ingels.
