Construction Accidents

Paul Geer, the crane operator whose crane collapsed at 46-10 Center Boulevard in Long Island City this week, has had his license suspended, the Times reports. There's a stop-work order at the site, part of the East Coast project, until the investigation is completed. Crane owner New York Crane and Equipment Corporation is the same company involved in the 2008 crane collapse that killed two. [NYT; previously]
