"Big Deal" columnist Alex Barrionuevo has taken a look at the first two episodes of the HGTV show "Scoring the Deal," in which broker-to-the-sports-stars Jason Abrams helps wealthy athletes find places to live without sort of accidentally losing tens of millions of dollars (as athletes are wont to do.) Apparently, it's surprisingly drama-free. "Without the catfights, what passes for tension on the show? Well, there's the appalling lack of three-bedroom apartments to rent in New Orleans for under $5,000 a month for Greivis Vásquez, a 26-year-old basketball player with the Hornets, as depicted in an episode on Tuesday." Still, it's probably worth checking out, if only for the crazy athlete amenities like fish tanks that double as headboards. [NYT]
