Since architect Robert Scarano entered the ranks of the barred, many of the buildings he designed have moved on to new lives, going rental or housing the homeless or heading for foreclosure auction. One more for the foreclosure column: 145-159 Classon Avenue, which, The Real Deal reports, is hitting the auction block today. Hints of foreclosure first surfaced for the rental building in late 2010; the loan balance is now a painful $21.16 million, plus interest. (The site sold to its current investment group owner for $3.5 million in 2004; the building was finished in 2005.) Good luck, potential buyers.
