? The larger of the two apartments, 590 Sterling Place may suffer from a lack of windows. There's one in the front, and a small terrace in the back, but other than that the place doesn't get much natural light. The other main concern is probably the kitchen, which, while new-looking, is basically in the hallway. Still, it's got more space and lower monthly charges, and neither of those things can be overlooked.

? 524 Saint Johns Place is certainly not lacking in the windows department. The triplex penthouse is practically made of them, and compensates for its 26 percent higher per-square-foot cost with a private roof terrace, wood burning fireplace, and sleek stainless steel staircase. It's definitely a nice place to look at, but the dearth of overall floor space might be cause for concern.
