How Much for a Whale-Worthy 3BR Upper East Side Co-op?

New, 14 comments

PriceSpotter is Curbed's asking price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you take a crack at the price in the comments. Tomorrow we reveal the answer. And hey, no cheating!

What/Where: 3BR/4.5BA co-op in the Upper East Side
Square feet: N/A but there are 10 rooms and a 52-foot-long terrace
Maintenance/CC: $9,764
The skinny: Instead of sticking to our usual Pricespotter price range, we picked a property that's more deserving of real estate whale. This sprawling co-op is located in the Upper East Side, and arguably its best feature is the terrace that runs the length of the unit's North side. The entry gallery, living room, and dining room all have French doors that open to the terrace, and the three bedrooms all have en suite bathrooms. The master suite includes a windowed dressing room or study and an extravagant marble bathroom. Over in the eating/dining wing, the kitchen has top-of-the-line everything, a dining island, and a six-burner stovetop, and there's a laundry room and staff quarters. There's no square footage listed, but the floor plan has room dimensions, so you could do a lot of math and estimate. The unit has a security system, and the building has a squash court, elevator men, fitness center, and storage. How much do you think the seller is asking?
