An Old Whale's 733 Park Penthouse Sells for More Than $20M

New, 12 comments

Investment banker Herbert Allen was a big deal in the early 1970s, and he paid $526,500 for the penthouse at 733 Park Avenue when the tower, Park's tallest residential building, was built. Now his heirs have sold the place for more than $20 million, the Daily News reports. Whalin'! The buyer also works in financial services, but beyond that, we don't know the new owner's ID.
