Poor Lady Liberty. She's been so lonely on her island. First, she was closed for nearly a year for repairs. Then Hurricane Sandy ruined her opening plans, keeping her closed to visitors until July 4th. Now, she's without guests because of the government shutdown that began October 1, but there is hope!
