Capturing 5 Pointz At Night; 30 Washington Is Fully Leased

LONG ISLAND CITY?Unless a Hail Mary lawsuit succeeds, New York will soon say goodbye to the iconic graffiti-covered 5 Pointz. The city recently approved a plan to demolish the warehouses and erect two apartment towers. Over the coming weeks, artists, urban explorers, and photographers will no doubt have their final hurrahs to capture and experience the street art mecca before its gone forever. Photographer Bahram Foroughi stopped by 5 Pointz last Friday night for a photo shoot, which we shared in the gallery above. [CurbedWire Inbox]

DUMBO?All 94 of Two Trees' "handcrafted rentals" at 30 Washington Street are spoken for. The converted 7-story warehouse contains one-bedrooms that started at $3,325, one bedroom with home offices that started at $3,450, and two-bedroom that started at $4,200. Many of the units and the amenity spaces retain elements of the original building, like exposed beams and wood-paneled ceilings. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
