The owners of 225 Troutman Street in Bushwick happen to be architects, too, and their primary goal in designing the building was to create a LEED-rated property as inexpensively as possible. The property has an office, a residential floor, and two rentable apartments. In the video above, the homeowner walks Curbed's video editors through the materials and mechanical systems that make the house environmentally friendly.
