Menswear Departments Get Makeovers; Flea in Winter; More!

And now, the latest from Racked NY, shopping and retail from the sidewalks up...

1) Herald Square: This year, Macy's will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day rather than at midnight, meaning four more hours of crazed Black Friday deal-hunters. Steer clear.

2) Soho: Joe Fresh has opened its fifth shop on Broadway near Grand Street. Get thee there for the brand's signature affordable basics and the largest selection from its Runway Collection.

3) Williamsburg: After its last outdoor iteration on November 24, the Brooklyn Flea will relocate to a winter home on Wythe Avenue, where it signed a four-month lease for a 47,000-square-foot space.

4) Queens: From October 29 through Halloween, JFK's JetBlue terminal is getting a farmer's market. Do they think the availability of autumnal gourds will make people any less upset about delayed flights or lost baggage?

5) Citywide: Major department stores' menswear sections are getting makeovers left and right, and here's a handy cheat sheet to the improved outposts ahead.
