Progress has been slow at 80 South Street, the 1,018-foot tower designed by Morali Architects and partially inspired by 56 Leonard, but progress is indeed being made. Anthony Morali sat down for another interview with New York YIMBY, and a few more details about the building emerged: developer Cord Meyer is "committed" to the project and in talks with several hoteliers; the landmark permits should be certified this week. The building will have a green roof, a driverless parking system, and the potential for elevated connections with nearby buildings. [NY YIMBY; previously]
