The Jehovah's Witnesses have access to four tunnels underneath Orange Street, Columbia Heights, and Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights (according to Department of Finance documents), which they use to access the religious organization's other properties in the neighborhood. But when the Watchtower finishes its sell-off in the neighborhood, the tunnels are unlikely to remain in use. They would pose a security risk for owners of future condos in the buildings, and developers would be unlikely to want to continue paying for their use once the current agreements with the city expire.
