Brooklyn's Future Tallest Tower Updates Its Look, Begins Work

New, 23 comments

New condo building 388 Bridge Street will soon usurp the Brooklyner as the borough's tallest building, but by 2015, the title will belong to the Avalon Willoughby West. Brownstoner stopped by the site of the future 596-foot tall building, where they spotted an updated rendering. The new image shows a lot more blue glass than those previously released by SLCE Architects. As for actual work at the site, excavation is underway. It will have 861 rental units in 57 stories, and construction should be complete by the end of 2015.
