The Hearst Design Group's seventh annual Designer Visions showcase, produced by shelter magazines Elle Decor, House Beautiful, and Veranda, opened this morning, with three apartments designed by Alessandra Branca, Jamie Drake, and Carlos Aparicio. This time around, the festivities are being held in Walker Tower, the condo conversion of a Ralph Walker-designed Art Deco building in Chelsea. Above and below, some shots of the 4,800-square-foot apartment designed by Alessandra Branca. Head over to Curbed National for shots of the other two showhouse apartments.

Branca used a few of her signature design approaches in the apartment, including plaster and paint stripes. She used contemporary furniture with a Roman slant, large photographs, gilt brass wall sconces, patent leather 18th-century chairs, and many other design elements.
