Three new single-family townhouses are rising on Cobble Hill's Strong Place, and developer Brennan Realty Services put together a time-lapse video of the construction from the groundbreaking in January through September for a little preview of what's to come. It's one marketing tool for the two five-bedroom and one-six bedroom homes on the way, designed by CWB Architects, who seem rather familiar with row house design themselves, plus project principal Brendan Coburn grew up on Strong Place himself. They've flirted with the market over the last few years, priced at $4,150,000 (#4A, 3,877 square feet), $4,350,000 (#4, 3,891 square feet), and $5,950,000 (#2, which includes a detached two-story carriage house, 4,927 square feet). It was a little too early, though, and they will be re-listed in the spring of 2014 with occupancy projected for later next year; it's unclear whether the pricing will be the same. The LEED gold-aiming residences are still described at the bottom of Brennan's website, with lots of juicy details, and there's a teaser site. According to project reps, the site was a parking lot for about 80 years, and was home to two townhouses and an outbuilding before that; the handsome brick-clad project easily earned Landmarks' approval.
