Church Transforms Into Three Beamed Units Asking $2M-Plus

New, 16 comments

Wood-beamed ceilings and peaked windows are two hints that the three apartments at 541 Leonard Street, which hit the market earlier this week, were formerly part of a church (h/t BuzzBuzzHome). All of the units have three bedrooms and three baths, with 20-foot ceilings, a keyed elevator, and access to more than one outdoor space?some public, some private. Each apartment also comes with a private storage room. Apartments A and C want $2.5 million, while slightly smaller B is asking $2.3M. They were previously available to rent for $12,000, $15,000, and $18,000/month, respectively, but that doesn't seem to be an option anymore.
