Our Sales Team Is Hiring

Our friends on the business side are hiring for two key roles in our New York City office: account manager and ad sales trafficker. The ideal account manager has exceptional communication skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks, and 2-3 years experience in a digital media environment. The ideal trafficker is detail-oriented, analytical, and has 1-2 years experience in digital advertising.

Both jobs are based in our NYC headquarters and feature competitive pay, a matched 401(k), health care, and a good time. Full descriptions are here and after the jump.

Account Manager (NYC):
The account manager will provide first-line support to our sales and marketing teams during the pre- and post-sale process. The job spans all three of our titles—Curbed, Eater & Racked. Primary duties include:

· Creating sales plans in Excel and assisting on creation of decks for RFPs
· Managing the ad sales calendar
· Producing and adhering to project timelines
· Interfacing with agencies and clients to collect creative assets
· Serving as the liaison between sales, marketing and editorial teams to execute custom campaigns

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organization skills, the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a timely manner, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint and and understanding of the digital advertising landscape are necessary.

Ad Sales Trafficker (NYC):
This person will be responsible for inputting, analyzing and optimizing ad campaigns to ensure full delivery. The job spans all three of our titles—Curbed, Eater & Racked. Primary duties include:

· Pulling ad inventory and making suggestions during the RFP phase
· Accurately inputting campaigns into our ad server (DFP); testing 3rd-party tags and creative
· Inputting sales plans into various 3rd-party ad planning systems
· Monitoring delivery daily and advising on optimizations to maximize creative performance and ensure full delivery
· Creating delivery reports for both the sales team and clients

The right candidate has a fluency in and love for Excel, an eye for detail and an analytic mind. Experience with DFP, Google Analytics and and an understanding of the digital advertising landscape is preferred.
