Rent Wars

New, 7 comments

'Tis a bad day for rent-stabilized tenants of the Trinity House at 100 West 92nd Street. Building owner the Trinity School won a long-running battle to increase rents by as much as 13 percent in a year. The Department of Housing and Preservation signed off on the raises, saying they found them necessary after a lengthy review. The first increases will come next month, followed by a 9.5 percent jump the next year, and a 3 percent raise in the third year. [The Real Deal; previously]
