Finger Building Penthouse Drops Resale Price Below $2 Million

The owner of penthouse 1B at Williamsburg's Finger Building (aka 144 North 8th Street) clearly made the purchase with a flip in mind. That owner, an LLC, paid $1.12 million for the apartment in May 2012. In early 2013, the place reappeared on the market with a laughable $2.1 million asking price. Spoiler alert: it didn't sell. A new listing for the same pad has dropped the price to $1.75 million. The floorplan, with such quirks as a washer/dryer in the living room and a split bathroom, has us thinking that number is still a little high.
