DoBro Spaceship Building Replaced With Very Normal Building

In January, we learned that 85 Flatbush Avenue Extension would not (sadly?) be getting the Ismael Leyva-designed spaceship-like building, and now we know what the building will actually look like. And compared to the Flatiron-meets-aliens creation previously proposed, it's pretty boring. Brownstoner posted the updated rendering, which was posted on the construction site. The developer is Read Property Group (the same people behind the massive Rheingold Brewery redevelopment in Bushwick), and the 12-story building will have 69 units, a hotel, and street-level retail.
